Common Questions
Do all players need to have the app?
No. Fork the Vote is designed to be played on a single phone, passed around the table. Only one person needs the app.
Does it require internet?
No. The app works completely offline. No internet connection is required at any point.
What happens if there's a tie?
Tied restaurants go to a tiebreaker round where all players re-rank just the tied options. This repeats until there's a clear winner.
Can I change the number of nominations per player?
The default is 3 nominations per player. You can change this in the app's Settings.
Can I turn off the veto round?
Yes. On the Player Setup screen, toggle off "Enable Veto Round" before starting the game.
Is my data saved between games?
No. Each game is completely fresh. No data is stored between sessions.
Can I play with just two people?
Absolutely. Fork the Vote works great with 2 players -- you'll each nominate 3 restaurants for a list of up to 6 options.
