Terms of Service for WordSum

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using WordSum (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

WordSum is a daily word puzzle game available on iOS and Android. The App provides daily puzzles across three difficulty levels, performance tracking, and statistics. New puzzles are generated automatically each day.

Subscriptions and Billing

WordSum offers auto-renewable subscription plans that provide access to the full game experience.

Subscription Details:

• Payment is charged to your App Store (Apple) or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device’s account settings (App Store or Google Play)

Free Trial:

• If offered, the free trial period begins when you subscribe and cannot be combined with other offers
• Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Pricing:

• Subscription prices are displayed in the App before purchase and may vary by region
• Prices may change from time to time. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period following the date of the price change.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App’s systems or data
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Distribute, share, or resell access to the App
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App

Intellectual Property

All content in WordSum, including but not limited to game design, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by WordSum and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WORDSUM AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://borbolecompanies.github.io/WordSumApp/privacy. Game data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or sell personal information.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
